These terms explain the rules for using the rust-ru.com website as well as the RUST RU community bots and services on Discord. Please read them carefully. By using the website or adding our bots to your server, you agree to everything below. If you do not agree with any part, please do not use our services.
1.General
RUST RU is a Russian-speaking community for the game Rust. We run a Discord server, the rust-ru.com website, and a set of bots that help players chat, find teammates, follow the news, and use in-house services.
These Terms of Use govern the relationship between you as a user and the RUST RU team. They apply to every part of the website as well as to our Discord bots.
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, and the date of the last change is shown at the top.
2.Who we are and what we offer
Our services are free at their core and built by the community. They include:
news and guides for the game Rust;
teammate search and a clan system;
game server monitoring and voting;
calculators and other useful tools for players;
an internal chat, private messages, and member profiles;
a marketplace of services between community members;
Discord bots that connect the website with our Discord server.
We reserve the right to add, change, or remove any feature without prior notice when this is needed for the project to grow.
3.Account and sign-in
You sign in through your Discord account. We never ask for or store your Discord password, authorization goes through the official OAuth protocol. Optionally, you may also link a Steam account.
You are responsible for keeping access to your Discord account safe. Any action taken under your account is considered to be taken by you.
By providing information in your profile, you confirm that it does not violate the rights of others and does not mislead anyone.
4.Rules of conduct
We want the community to be a pleasant place. When using the website and bots, the following is not allowed:
insulting other members, spreading hate, threatening, or harassing;
posting spam, unapproved advertising, or fraudulent offers;
sharing adult material, content prohibited by law, or malicious links and files;
trying to hack the site, bypass limits, or automate actions with bots and scrapers without permission;
impersonating other people, the administration, or official representatives;
using the services for any illegal activity.
Breaking these rules may lead to content removal, an account ban on the website, and a ban on our Discord server.
5.Your content
Comments, listings, service descriptions, chat messages, and other material you post stays yours. By posting it here, you give us permission to display that material on the website and related services as part of running the project.
You are responsible for what you post. Do not share other people's material without the rights to it, and do not post anything that could harm others.
We may hide or remove any user content that violates these terms or the law, or upon a justified complaint.
6.Discord bots
Our bots run on the RUST RU community Discord server and help connect it with the website. They may read messages in designated channels, respond to commands, keep activity statistics, and send notifications and direct messages at your request.
By adding a bot or using its features, you agree to these terms as well as to the Discord Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
The bots process only the data needed for them to work. You can read more about this in our Privacy Policy.
If a bot is not working correctly or you want to disable one of its features, contact the community administration.
7.In-app currency and payments
The website has internal points as well as coins that can be topped up. These are virtual units inside the service, they are not real money, have no exchange rate outside the project, and cannot be moved outside our services other than through the website's own features.
Where topping up coins with real money is available, payment goes through third-party payment services. We do not store your bank card details.
As a rule, refunds for services already provided or points already spent are not made, except where required by law or by our own rules.
8.Services between members
In the services section, members can offer help to each other and place orders. Payments between the client and the provider go through an internal balance that holds the funds until delivery is confirmed.
We provide the platform and a tool for safe settlements, but we are not a party to the deal between members and do not guarantee the quality or outcome of a specific service.
We try to resolve disputes fairly, based on the correspondence and order history. The final decision on a dispute rests with the administration.
9.Intellectual property
The site design, texts, logos, and project code belong to the RUST RU team unless stated otherwise. You may not use them for commercial purposes without our permission.
Rust and the Rust logo are trademarks of Facepunch Studios. We are an independent fan project and are not officially affiliated with Facepunch Studios. All in-game images and names belong to their respective owners.
10.Limitation of liability
The services are provided on an as is basis. We do our best to keep everything stable and correct, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation or the absence of errors.
We are not responsible for the actions of other users, for the content of external sites that links lead to, or for any losses caused by using or being unable to use the services.
11.Blocking and ending access
We may limit or fully close access to the website and bots for a user who violates these terms or harms the community or the law. Where possible we warn in advance, but in serious cases a block may be immediate.
You may stop using our services at any time and ask us to delete your account by contacting support.
12.Changes to the terms
We may change these terms as the project develops. We try to announce significant changes in the community. If you keep using the services after an update, that means you accept the new version.
13.Contact
For any questions about these terms or about how the website or bots work, email us at support@rust-ru.com or reach out to the administration on our Discord server.
We try to write in plain language and keep the legal jargon to a minimum. If anything is still unclear after reading, just reach out and we will explain it in normal words.
